Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Service Excellence
- Deliver 5-star welcome experience at check-in
- Process efficient check-outs within 3 minutes
- Handle guest requests promptly and professionally
- Maintain detailed guest profiles in PMS system
- Recognize and act on repeat guest preferences
- Provide local recommendations (restaurants, tours, transport)
- Manage special occasion arrangements (anniversaries, birthdays)
- Resolve guest complaints following brand standards
- Escalate complex issues to supervisors when needed
- Conduct courtesy calls to ensure guest satisfaction
2. Front Desk Operations
- Maintain accurate room status in PMS
- Process room assignments and upgrades
- Handle walk-in reservations efficiently
- Manage late check-outs/early arrivals
- Coordinate room moves when required
- Verify guest identification thoroughly
- Maintain key card security protocols
- Keep front desk area immaculate at all times
- Monitor lobby traffic flow during peak times
- Follow cash handling procedures precisely
3. Reservation Management
- Process phone/email reservations accurately
- Explain rate plans and packages clearly
- Apply appropriate discounts following policies
- Manage waitlists during sold-out periods
- Update group booking details as needed
- Process third-party reservations correctly
- Handle modifications and cancellations
- Maintain reservation confidentiality
4. Financial Transactions
- Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments
- Post charges to guest folios accurately
- Handle foreign currency exchange
- Resolve billing discrepancies promptly
- Maintain cashier float with zero variances
- Print and review daily transaction reports
- Complete end-of-shift reconciliation
5. Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with housekeeping on room status
- Coordinate with maintenance for room issues
- Communicate with F&B for special requests
- Update security on VIP arrivals
- Assist concierge during peak periods
6. Technology & Systems
- Operate PMS (Opera, Fidelio, etc.) proficiently
- Troubleshoot printer/key card issues
- Use channel manager to check availability
- Process contactless check-ins via mobile apps
- Maintain digital guest records accurately
7. Safety & Compliance
- Follow emergency procedures (fire, medical)
- Maintain guest privacy and data security
- Adhere to PCI compliance for payments
- Report suspicious activities to security
- Complete incident reports when required
Who We’re Looking For
✔ 1+ years in front office/hospitality role
✔ Diploma/Degree in Hospitality (preferred)
✔ Tech-savvy with PMS experience
✔ Multilingual skills (advantageous)
✔ Impeccable grooming and professional demeanor
✔ Flexible to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays
