Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Service Excellence

  1. Deliver 5-star welcome experience at check-in
  2. Process efficient check-outs within 3 minutes
  3. Handle guest requests promptly and professionally
  4. Maintain detailed guest profiles in PMS system
  5. Recognize and act on repeat guest preferences
  6. Provide local recommendations (restaurants, tours, transport)
  7. Manage special occasion arrangements (anniversaries, birthdays)
  8. Resolve guest complaints following brand standards
  9. Escalate complex issues to supervisors when needed
  10. Conduct courtesy calls to ensure guest satisfaction

2. Front Desk Operations

  1. Maintain accurate room status in PMS
  2. Process room assignments and upgrades
  3. Handle walk-in reservations efficiently
  4. Manage late check-outs/early arrivals
  5. Coordinate room moves when required
  6. Verify guest identification thoroughly
  7. Maintain key card security protocols
  8. Keep front desk area immaculate at all times
  9. Monitor lobby traffic flow during peak times
  10. Follow cash handling procedures precisely

3. Reservation Management

  1. Process phone/email reservations accurately
  2. Explain rate plans and packages clearly
  3. Apply appropriate discounts following policies
  4. Manage waitlists during sold-out periods
  5. Update group booking details as needed
  6. Process third-party reservations correctly
  7. Handle modifications and cancellations
  8. Maintain reservation confidentiality

4. Financial Transactions

  1. Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments
  2. Post charges to guest folios accurately
  3. Handle foreign currency exchange
  4. Resolve billing discrepancies promptly
  5. Maintain cashier float with zero variances
  6. Print and review daily transaction reports
  7. Complete end-of-shift reconciliation

5. Communication & Coordination

  1. Liaise with housekeeping on room status
  2. Coordinate with maintenance for room issues
  3. Communicate with F&B for special requests
  4. Update security on VIP arrivals
  5. Assist concierge during peak periods

6. Technology & Systems

  1. Operate PMS (Opera, Fidelio, etc.) proficiently
  2. Troubleshoot printer/key card issues
  3. Use channel manager to check availability
  4. Process contactless check-ins via mobile apps
  5. Maintain digital guest records accurately

7. Safety & Compliance

  1. Follow emergency procedures (fire, medical)
  2. Maintain guest privacy and data security
  3. Adhere to PCI compliance for payments
  4. Report suspicious activities to security
  5. Complete incident reports when required

Who We’re Looking For

✔ 1+ years in front office/hospitality role
✔ Diploma/Degree in Hospitality (preferred)
